We are not a registered association and do not have formal membership.
It is also possible to participate temporarily or to contact us regarding project-based cooperation.
Generally, we meet mostly monthly in Gaarden to discuss plans and current topics.
We are not fixed on content. We define culture relatively broadly. However, our focus is more on performing arts because we see a deficit in Gaarden in this area.
We are open to ideas that you bring. Whether we implement them with you depends on how elaborate they are and whether we can finance them.
We are currently still a small group, but also relatively active. We want to do as much as we can and enjoy it. We have a democratic but also pragmatic approach to ourselves and our way of working. This means that our decision-making processes are currently not particularly formalized; we try to adapt them to the requirements.
The Kulturinitiative Gaarden aims to make culture in the district more tangible by presenting it in all its diversity.
The Kulturinitiative Gaarden was founded in 2023 and, among other things, emerged from the support association “Gaarden liest” and cooperates with the “Netzwerk für Revolutionäre Ungeduld e.V.” (NfRU)1
